Google Adsense Tips

Posted By: Rdgventure on October 24, 2011 at 1:39 pm

Google Adsense is a enjoyable and easy way to earn some extra money if you do it patiently.  It’s important to follow the rules though as Google is serious about the integrity of their program.  If you do not follow the rules, it could result in your Google Adsense account being terminated.  Here are a few Dont’s for using the program:

1.  Never, ever, ever click on your own ads.  Google Adsense makes it very clear this will not be tolerated.

2.  Do not ask your friends and family to click on your ads.  Rather, earn money by referring them to the Google Adsense program.

3.  Do not participate in the Google Adsense program strictly for the money.  This is not a get-rick-quick scheme.  It will take time and hard work to make a profit.

4.  Do not worry if you don’t understand everything the first day.  Although the Google Adsense program is extremely user-friendly.  It may take a little time to integrate all the facets of the program.  Be patient and above all, have fun!

5.  hopefully, these helpful tips will ease you into using the program and help you avoid mistakes that could possibly cost you a lot of time or money.

Posted By: Rdgventure on October 21, 2011 at 1:20 pm

Affiliate marketers who are successful have access to extra income.  The potential for extra income is what drives people to the internet.  Extra income means an income that you can earn apart from the regular income coming in from employment or normal work.  This earning can be used to pay off your outstanding debts or build up a capital account or spend it any way you want.  Everyone seems to want a second income but no one wants to work a second job, so the extra income is normally seen as a windfall.

Affiliate marketing is one way you can earn extra income.  If you are incline to building a relationship with your customers, then affiliate marketing may be a great way to earn extra income.  There are a lot of people making a substantial amount of money because of the internet.

Today, the internet and the general market have a lot of ideas for generating extra income.  Network marketing in general market terms has been successful to some extent.  The internet offers extra income potential  to people who are interested in affiliate marketing.  The internet also offers a host of other options like writing, advertising and simple technical non-technical jobs which can highly augment your regular income.  The extra income that can be earned from these opportunities depends on how good your skills are in the filed of your expertise.

A Typical Day of an Affiliate Marketer

Posted By: Rdgventure on October 18, 2011 at 2:25 pm

A typical day of an affiliate marketer assuming that the affiliate is working from home starts out something like this.  Upon waking up and after having breakfast, the computer is turned on to check out new developments in the network.  As far as the marketer is concerned there might be new things to update and statistics to keep track on.  The site design has to be revised.  The marketer knows that a well-designed site can increase sign-ups from visitors.  It can also help in the affiliate’s conversion rates.

It is now time to submit the affiliate program to directories that list affiliate programs.  These directories are means to attract people in joining your affiliate program.  A sure way of promoting the affiliate program.  It is time to track down the sales you are getting from your affiliates fairly and accurately.  There are phone orders and mails to track down.  See if they are new clients checking the products out.

There are a lot of resources to sort out.  Ads, banners, button ads and sample recommendations to give out because the marketer knows that this is one way of ensuring more sales.  Best to stay visible and accessible, too.  The affiliate marketer remembers that there are questions to answer from the visitors.  This has to be done quickly.  Nothing can turn off a customer than an unanswered mail.  To prove that the affiliate is working effectively and efficiently, inquiries would have to be paid more attention on.  Nothing can turn off a customer more  than an unaswered email.

This is just a brief overview of the typical day of an affiliate marketer.  There are a lot of things to learn.  It is a continuous process.  If you like what you do, your day will go fast and be enjoyable.

The Search Engines Web Crawlers

Posted By: Rdgventure on October 13, 2011 at 2:27 pm

Everyone who submits their blog or website must go through the process of  getting their information out to their potential customers.  It is a good thing to know how the search engines actually work and how they present information to the customer initiating a search.  There are basically two types of search engines.  The first is by robots called crawlers or spiders.

Search engines use spiders to index websites.  When you submit your website pages to a search engine by completing their required submission page, the search engine by completing their required submission page. the search engine spider will index your entire site.  A ‘spider’ is an automated program that is run by the search engine system.  Spider visits a website, read the content on the actual site, the site’s Meta tags and also follow the links that the site connects.  The spider then returns all that information back to a central depository, where the data is indexed.  It will visit each link you have on your website and index those sites as well.  Some spiders will only index a certain number of pages on your site, so don’t create a site with 500 pages.

The spider will periodically return to the sites to check for any information that has changed.  The frequency with which this happens is determined by the moderators of the search engine.

A spider is almost like a book where it contains the table of contents, the actual content and the links and references for all the websites it finds during its search, and it may index up to a million pages a day.

Example:  Excite, Lycos, Altavista and Google

When you ask a search engine to locate information, it is actually searching through the index which it has created and not actually searching the web.  Different search engines produce different rankings because not every search engine uses the same algorithm to search through the indices.

One of the things that a search engine algorithm scans for is the frequency and location of keywords on a web page, but it can also detect artificial keyword stuffing or spamdexing.  Then the algorithms analyze the way that pages link to other pages in the Web.  By checking how pages link to each other, an engine can both determine what a page is about, if the keywords of the linked pages are similar to the keywords on the original page.

Keys to Create Your Social Network Profile

Posted By: Rdgventure on October 11, 2011 at 11:10 am

There are keys to creating your social network profile.  If you are interested in joining a social networking website, the first thing that you will need to do is find a network to join.  You can esily find a number of networks by performing a standard internet search.  For the best search results, you may want to search with the words social networking or social networking websites.  In your search, it is likely that you come up with a fairly large number of results may include, but will not be limited to Myspace, Facebook and Classmates.

Once you have made the decision to join a particular social networking website, whether or not it is one of the ones mentioned above, you will need to register with the site.  Once you join, you need to start communicating.  A good key to creating your social network profile is your picture.  While a personal picture is optional, it is ideal.  Many internet users enjoy talking to someone that they can picture in their minds.

Another key is to include your name.  Now, when it comes to your name, you need to be cautious.  you are advised against giving your full name, especially if your profile or profile page contains a personal photograph of you.  The next key that is important is location, but be cautious.  Your picture, your address, and your full name can be dangerous, especially if it falls into the wrong hands.  As much as you would like to fill your social networking profiles with personal information, you are advised to think about your safety before anything else.

The key to create an online social networking profile is to exercise caution.  Do not give out too much information.  Your safety on the internet is in your hands.  The most important key in creating your social network profile is safety, as well as internet popularity.

Successful Landing Page Tips

Posted By: Rdgventure on October 5, 2011 at 1:31 pm

Successful landing page tips, also known as the “name squeeze page”  or “lead capture page”,  you can build your mailing list by funneling all of your would-be subscribers through the creation of a landing page.  Not only do you do the work just once, your traffic driving efforts can be focused onto just one effective method.

The following are  four tips in creating a successful landing page that converts visitors into subscribers on a very huge percentage.

Success Tip 1:  Offer a freebie in exchange for your visitor’s email address.  I very much endorse this method of building your mailing list.  you can offer a special report or a sample of your paid product to your visitor in exchange for their details such as name and email address.

Success Tip 2:  The landing page must be written professionally.  When writing your page, treat it as if you are writing a sales letter.  While you are not necessarily making a hard sale or try to get someone to buy your product upfront, being able to entice your visitors to give their details to you is just as important as selling.

Success Tip 3:  Other than your opt-in form and perhaps important disclaimers and terms, there shouldn’t be any other links on your landing page.

Success Tip 4:  Rub in the benefits of the freebie you are offering more than a mere subscription to your newsletter.  You should focus most of the attention of the letter on encouraging your prospective visitor to download your free offer.  Later, you gently remind your prospect that he or she has nothing to pay but just merely subscribe to your newsletter in exchange for the freebie.

As a final reminder and conclusion, in order to build trust, you can include your hand-written signature or a photo of yourself explaining where you are coming from and how you can help your visitor through your free report or offer.

Make Money With Google Adsense

Posted By: Rdgventure on October 3, 2011 at 12:37 pm

How much money can I make with Google Adsense?  How much do you want to make?  How hard do you want to work?  And how much time do you want to spend working the Google Adsense program?  These are the questions you much ask yourself in order to answer that question.  Look at it this way:  how many business opportunities come your way where the only requirement is hard work and the time it takes to work hard?  Not many.  Almost any business venture requires some kind of start-up money.

If your total earnings is showing zeroes after a week, you need not worry.  Keep reading and learning and working.  If however, you’re still showing zeroes in your account after a month, it may be time to implement some of those optimization tips you’ll find on the Google Adsense Support Site.  Play around with the placement of the ads on your site.  Consider changing the colors.  Look again at the content.  Is it interesting?

As with any other business, with the Google Adsense program, the sky is the limit.  Work hard.  Work smart.  Have fun.  After all, you’re the boss.  The Google Adsense program is a flexible, hassle-free way to earn revenue by sharing relevant and engaging ads alongside your online content.  When I first started blogging, I didn’t realize the income potential of having relevant ads on your site.  It is a great concept.  Google gives you detailed and customized reports which lets you know how well your blog is doing with the Google Adsense program.

Make Your Ebook Your Viral Salesman

Posted By: Rdgventure on September 28, 2011 at 10:51 am

E-books are the future and the future is now.  The printed word on paper and bound into books used to be the only way information was given and received.  They were great, you could take them with you and put them on shelves and they do still exist and will continue to for the forseeable future but the time of the E-book has arrived.

The marketing E-book is a slightly different animal from just an E-book.  Marketing E-books contain text, images, links to web pages and navigation controls.  The marketing E-book has become a very important part of marketing on the Internet.  With a marketing E-book you can present your story in an effective way and include links to your web sales pages.  Your E-book can become your best salesman.

First, your E-book needs to be interesting and informative.  It always has links back to your website and to your sales page.  Next, be sure that you have a prominent section telling readers that they are free to give your E-book away.  Let them know that they can post it on their site as a fee download, that they can use it as a bonus, and that they can bundle it with other products.  This is the way to create viral marketing for your products or services.  Remember those links go back to your site contained in the E-book.

The last thing to do, but certainly not the least before you send your E-book out to the world, double check spelling and grammar and be sure that you have tested every link to verify that it goes where it is supposed to go.  Obvious errors will reflect badly on you and will not be of much value to you, it could even be damaging.

Post your E-book to some of the E-book directories.  Many let you post it for free, or will let you post a link on their site to your E-book.

How to Submit a Podcast

Posted By: Rdgventure on September 27, 2011 at 11:02 am

Podcasting is easy to get involved in for anyone who wants to submit a podcast.  The first thing necessary is access to a web server.  The user needs to be able to upload files to the server itself, so podcasting can’t be done from a simple blogging or journal site.  It’s probably best to register a domain and find a host for the site.  Once the site has been set up and the user has access to the host server, a small program called dircaster.php should be customized for your site, and can be used to automatically generate the RSS feed that the subscribers will download.  The mp3 files should be uploaded to the proper directory after all the information about the file has been attached.  After they are in the directory, the address of dircaster.php, as long as it is in the same directory as the mp3 files, will generate an RSS file that will tell your subscribers where to download the latest podcasts from.  To update and add a new episode, create and upload the new mp3 file to the same directory.  When dircaster.php is accessed, it will recognize the new file and relay the information on to your visitors.

By following these steps, it is easy for anyone to create a podcast with a small expenditure of time and effort.  The site is easy to set up; domains and hosting are now cheap enough for almost anyone to have a small site, and the programs necessary are all easy to find and use.

How to Start an Ezine Publication

Posted By: Rdgventure on September 20, 2011 at 11:53 am

How to start you own ezine can be a lot easier than you think.  This is because in the most basic necessity, all you need to get started publishing your own paperless newsletter are wealth of content, autoresponder with broaden feature, and a website (which is optional).

Content.  You can compile weeks of content ahead in advance and slowly dispense them to your subscribers.  For example, you can compile 100 short tips in one day and dispense 10 tips once a week.  In other words, you can compile 10 weeks worth of content in just one day!

Auto responder.  Your auto responder is your asset.  You need an auto responder to send your mails and ezine issues to your subscribers and store your data base of people subscribed to your newsletter.  Some recommended auto responders include GetResponse.com and Aweber.com

Website.  You may be surprised that this is actually an optional component.  In short, there are ezine publishers publishing their newsletters without a website!  But of course, having your own website can offer you tremendous advantages, such as the ability to bring in more subscribers and having your newsletter indexed in the top Search Engines.

These are the things you need to get started on publishing your own ezine at its bare minimum.  Do not underestimate the little you need, though, because several ezine publishers today succeed well with only an auto responder and contents, with or without a website.  And you can, too!
